Wordless Wednesday: NEW MOON

FABRiC ROSETTE.

Thanks to made by the mama monster's super-easy-to-follow tutorial on making frayed fabric rosettes, I think my first attempt was pretty successful.. if I do say so myself.

Now I just have to figure out where I want to put it..

I was thinking on a t-shirt.. or a headband.. or a jacket.. or a necklace, or on a Christmas stocking, or.. uhhh.. so many places for a pretty fabric flower. I'll have to make a few more. ;)

How super-adorable is this frame??

I wanted something {one-of-a-kind} for my desk at work to hold my super cute picture taken by the oh-so-talented chick that sits not far from me daily. ;)

After picking my paper & fabrics, I just hoped it'd all tie in together well.

I'm very happy with the way it turned out and I've gotten lots of great compliments on it from co-workers. My very first attempt at a fabric flower.. not bad! ;)

Fall Photos of the Kids.

Last weekend we had BEE.U.TEE.FUL weather.. So I took my kids out back to snap a few Fall-ish inspired pictures. Of course neither of them wanted to sit still for pictures.. neither of them wanted to wear what I suggested.. neither of them would play in the leave for me. They wanted to do what they wanted to do. What can ya say?? Nonetheless, I think they turned out pretty great.

I just hate how grainy they look when I upload my pictures to blogger. I actually have a really good camera. Any pointers on how I can make them look better when I upload them?

Approved Office Attire??

Seriously, I think anyone that sits behind a desk in the fall/winter months SHOULD be allowed aSnuggie. I mean, really.. Can you imagine how much work I could get done if my hands, feet, body weren't freezing cold for most of my day? (..Not that much more, but still.. there will be an effort made to getting more done..) (No, not really.)

And how about if I even get one in the company approved color? I'm not even being picky here. Although it will break my heart not to own my Snuggie in the adorable leopard print offered atWalgreens, I'm willing to suck it up and stick with a drab blue that will not compliment my skin tone. So whuddaya say people?? Is this asking too much? I think I should be allowed warmth & comfort at work, don't you? Ha!

Roller-Rinkin Y'all!

A couple of weeks ago we happened along the local skating rink. My chick has only been a hand full of times and my little guy was brand new to roller skates. I don't think he's even seen a pair before. The chick did great considering she was born with two left feet.. (not literally). My little guy did AWESOME! Can I tell you that his little butt did not fall one single time! Mama was impressed. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy! My apologizes for the bad photo quality. It was for serious.. Weekend Shopping Spree.

As promised.. I'll share all my shopping goodies purchased this past weekend with you all.

I guess it's because of the upcoming holiday season, but there are {TONS} of really good coupons and deals online and in stores right now. So of course I had to go indulge in all the coupon goodness.. right? ..Right??

I took the plunge and actually bought myself a pair of Uggs.

Even better.. I got them at a great price off of ebay!

NY&Co.. Bought this in cream. Only because I'm trying to branch out of my grey box. Nope, it didn't work. I'm returning it tomorrow to get it in grey.. Ha.

Express is something I'm new too. I've never been super crazy about shopping there. That is until a friend of mine got a managing job there AND can give me really super coupons! These are some of the pretties I got from there this past weekend.

I wore this to work yesterday.. SO.MANY.COMPLIMENTS! I wore it with black slacks from NY&Co and a black cami.

We've actually been having warmer weather. But I'm secretly hoping for cooler temperatures this coming up weekend so I can wear this sweater. Love it!

I bought this in a really pretty red.. I'm wearing it now. ;)

This was marked down.. On top of the low price and the flannel trend that's oh-so-instyle right now, I snatched it up and can't wait to wear it on my GNO w/ my lovely co-workers. ;)

This was a STEAL at The Limited. I'm a sucker for any sort of bling, bow or ruffle. This top was right up my alley!

That's the bulk of it. I bought a few other things here and there. But nothing that I could find online. Like I said, so.. So.. SO many good coupons are out right now. Be sure to google for them before the next time you head to your favorite shopping place! :)
